A Novel Technique for Multiple Access Interference Reduction in DS-CDMA Wireless Communications

چکیده
In this paper, we present a comprehensive report on the research work focused on developing a novel concept for reducing Multiple Access Interference (MAI) in Direct Sequence – Code Division Multiple Access (DS-CDMA) systems prevailing in wireless communications. The proposed novel algorithm is developed by using the principles of artificial intelligence based on neural networks. The basic function of the algorithm is to determine interference ratio far more accurately even in the presence of very high noise in the channel. Subsequently, the simulation tests are carried out to validate the claim by using MATLAB and C++ platforms while considering higher data transfer rate, presence of AWGN and channel fading effects due to multi path reflections and diffractions. Finally performance analysis is done for bit error rate in comparison with floating point matched filter, parallel residue compensation, normalized least mean square, group-wise successive interference cancellation and partial parallel interference cancellation methods. The proposed intelligent algorithm has shown better results for bit error rate analysis. General Terms Wireless Communications, Neural Networks, MAI Algorithm

Bit Error Performance for Asynchronous Ds Cdma Systems Over Multipath Rayleigh Fading Channels (RESEARCH NOTE)
In recent years, there has been considerable interest in the use of CDMA in mobile communications. Bit error rate is one of the most important parameters in the evaluation of CDMA systems. In this paper, we develop a technique to find an accurate approximation to the probability of bit error for asynchronous direct–sequence code division multiple–access (DS/CDMA) systems by modeling the multipl...

In this paper, we propose smart step closed-loop power control (SSPC) algorithm and base station assignment based on minimizing the transmitter power (BSAMTP) technique in a direct sequence-code division multiple access (DS-CDMA) receiver in the presence of frequency-selective Rayleigh fading. This receiver consists of three stages. In the first stage, with conjugate gradient (CG) adaptive ...
متن کاملPerformance of a coded multi-carrier DS-CDMA system in multi-path fading channels
Multi-carrier DS-CDMA has been considered as an eeective scheme for reducing multiple access interference in the case of quasi-synchronous transmission. The scheme allows the reduction of multiple access interference by transferring the or-thogonality property of the signals into the frequency domain where the orthog-onality property is robust to relative chip oosets between the spreading codes...
متن کاملZero-Forcing and Minimum Mean-Square Error Multiuser Detection in Generalized Multicarrier DS-CDMA Systems for Cognitive Radio
In wireless communications, multicarrier direct-sequence code-division multiple access (MC DS-CDMA) constitutes one of the highly flexible multiple access schemes. MC DS-CDMA employs a high number of degrees-of-freedom, which are beneficial to design and reconfiguration for communications in dynamic communications environments, such as in the cognitive radios. In this contribution, we consider ...
متن کاملNonlinear Multiuser Receiver for Optimized Chaos-Based DS-CDMA Systems
Chaos based communications have drawn increasing attention over the past years. Chaotic signals are derived from non-linear dynamic systems. They are aperiodic, broadband and deterministic signals that appear random in the time domain. Because of these properties, chaotic signals have been proposed to generate spreading sequences for wide-band secure communication recently. Like conventional DS...
